SPRINGFIELD CITY UTILITIES TRANSIT SERVICES
The transit system has 14 fixed day routes and four fixed night routes, encompassing 172 miles of route. In addition to the fixed route system, CU offers a paratransit service (Access Express) that provides rides to passengers who require additional resources to facilitate their bus travel. Bus schedules are available in Braille and large print format, in addition to the printed schedules. Contact Transit Services at (417) 831-8782 for more information. City Utilities’ Transit offers Access Express as a origin-to-destination transportation service for certified riders who are unable to use the regular fixed-route bus due to a disability or health condition. In order to utilize this service, riders must be pre-approved.
